Founded 25 years ago, Edimusa Publishing Group is one of the most important
publishing entities in México and all of Latin America.
Edimusa has one of the largest Mexican music catalogues representing more
than 16,000 copyrights in various musical genres including: Regional Mexican
(Norteño, Ranchero, Mariachi, etc.) Tropical, Pop and Contemporary music of
north and south america as well Europe.
Edimusa's Publishing Group headquarters are located in México City with brand
offices in the following locations: Loa Angeles, California (USA) Barcelona
(Spain), Caracas (Venezuela), Bogota (Colombia), and Buenos Aires
(Argentina).
For many years, Edimusa Publishing Group has supported
singer/songwriters and composers such as Joan Sebastian, Ana Gabriel, Carlos
Lara, Alejandro Jaen, Omar Alfanno, Lupe Esparza, Ze Luis and Fato, among many
others.
Our Philosophy
Edimusa Publishing Group has always been a big supporter of the
value of songwriters. Many writers have begun their musical carrers with us and
at this time are consecrated igures in the global music market.
Among these writers, we are specially proud of Carlos Lara,
Jesús Monarrez, Omar Alfanno, Rudy Pérez, Gloria Trevi, Ana Gabriel, and Fato.

Our company is fully dedicated to representing the works of our composers in a
very special way. We offer high level of service, quality work and the upmost
protection and promotion of their musical works. By nurturing our song writers'
careers, they see longevity in the industry. Our basic activities at edimusa
Publishing Group are to protect, collect royalties and promote ousr musical
works in México and all others countries where our music has a presence. We are
proud to support new songwriters and composers giving them all of the tools
necessary to faciliate their development and future musical stardom.

A brief history
Edimusa begin operations in 1974 when C.E.O. Mr. Eduardo Lucio Baptista decides to give a strong impulse to the company, and recruits
specialist staff and called in the same year Mr. Alfredo Gil Jr. as
a general manager in the first stage, thereafter, initiates the
recruitment of promising young composers such as Jose Manuel Figueroa,
Guadalupe Trigo, Sergio Esquivel, Tirso Paiz, and many others.
In 1975 starts the Acapulco Music catalog, which later served to attract the talent of the pop 70'sy 80's.
In the year 1977 under the leadership of its General Manager, Edimusa Publishing acquires Hermanos Marquez, incorporating bolero
repertoire of traditional Mexican music (mostly 40.50
60 years).
In the year 1983, Edimusa independent publishing
subsidiary, now is based on in the United States of America: Vander Music, Inc.
which, for several years is one of the most recognized in the Latino
market in the United States.
In 1985, Don Eduardo L. And Baptista & Eduardo Baptista Lucio,
concluded the successful acquisition of the independent music publisher
and most quoted, Brambila Musical México, SA of C.V.
In 1989, Edimusa acquired the catalog of ballads from a successful
author and producer Alejandro Jaen: Alex Music. Which contains
important hits, performed by singer / Vikki Car, Lupita D'Alessio,
Angélica María and others.
In 1995, under the command of Eduardo Baptista Lucio achieved the
first acquisition, incorporating the group: Unimusica Venezolana, CA
In 1998 he concluded the purchase of the music publisher Disk Peerless, Predisa.
One of the most important musical catalogs: Sonointer of Colombia, was acquired in 2000, after intense negotiations.
In 2002, after 2 years of negotiations, was finally acquired the publisher of the Rio Musical author Joan Sebastian.
Over the years, the Group Editorial Edimusa / Vander Music has
supported since its inception and young authors as Guadalupe Trigo,
Joan Sebastian, Ana Gabriel, Carlos Lara, Alejandro Jaen, Sergio
Andrade, Omar Alfano, Lupe Esparza, Gloria Trevi , Ze Luis, and Fato,
among many others.
The Group Edimusa / Vander after a journey of nearly 3 decades,
now has an extensive repertoire that includes many different genres and
topics always "evergreens" and thus has become one of the largest
independent publishers in the Latino market.
